As a big fan I just wanted to leave a heart-felt ARIGATO GOZAIMASU!
Your orchestral version of "Voyage to Avalon" still gives me the highest goose-bunmps of all songs ever. For over 20 years now. For me it's a TRUE CLASSIC absolutely on par with Beethoven, Mozart, Bach & Co. And I listen to A LOT of music of ALL genres. Music is Life.
I don't know if you'll ever read this, but it's the best I can do. So please accept my deepest thank for creating all these masterpieces.

フィンランド人で、最近全てがFになるのアニメを観ました。ストーリーもとても良かったけど、雰囲気が溢れる音楽で非常に感動しました！それで他の作曲も気になって、好きな作品ばかりでびっくりしました！

I think your finding music was used only for TV program BGM so, it is not
released on any OST unfortunately.
I mean that probably you can listen it only in TV series pictures.
Please understand and apologize for this.

After checking all the links,there is sadly not the music I'm talking about. I also checked some of your work from 2008-2009 'Gundam', and the song 'Unknown' from Gundam 01 sounds close to 1M-5. If this can help you to find it, the music I'm looking for is your song 1M-5 from this album : but with a different mix (harder percussions, no choirs)

Hi Kenji and the whole team,
As a big fan of apocalypse growing up, I remember there was a different version/mix of the song 1M-5 (from your Apocalypse Masters CD that got released a few year back) during the Apocalypse episode. In the version I have in mind from the episode, there were no choirs and the toms after the big brass section occuring at 1.43 min were a lot more agressive and dry in the mix with a lot more attack than they are in 1M-5. In fact the toms were as agressive as they are during all the choir parts but it was just a mix without choirs at all as far as I remember.
As this song without the choirs helped me to overcome the loss of a good friend, where could I find this different version of 1M-5?

このBBSに投稿するのは初めてなのですが、河井さんが作曲担当されていた「ひぐらしのなく頃に」のサントラに感激を受けて投稿させていただきました。
正直な話、放映されていた当時は川井さんの事を存じていなかったので担当されていたと気づいたのは最近のことでした。
どの場面も素敵なメロディがあって、作品の雰囲気をグッと上げてくれるようなハーモニーが素晴らしく最後まで夢中で見ることができたのも川井さんの音楽あってこそですね。
そこで一つ質問なのですが・・・ズバリ！川井さんの好きなコードは何でしょうか？一つだけでもいいので知りたいです。

『仕掛人・藤枝梅安』のテーマ曲、最高ですね。
最近、川井さんの梅安の影響で時代劇を見るようになりました。
過去の梅安シリーズとか、梅安が出てくる必殺シリーズとか。
今回の映画では原作のメインキャラがまだ揃っていないので、３作目以降も期待したいところです。
そんなこんなで川井さんの新作『大奥』も楽しみです。
